Berlin - Alexanderplatz

Alexanderplatz is a central, almost square plaza and an important transport hub in the German capital. It is located in the Königsstadt area of Berlin-Mitte and was named after the Russian tsar, Alexander I. It affords excellent urban infrastructure.

The building housing the Galeria Kaufhof department store constructed at the start of the 20th century is to be complemented with a building of up to 150 m in height in parts and partly build over this.

This will create around 34,800 m² of gross building space. The new building will comprise a two-part high-rise building and a six-storey adjoining building.
